The tube itself gets a special coating, too, which helps manage the light spectrum and fights back against moisture damage. For the connections, we use specific types like R7s or SK15. They create a solid, stable connection with the right amount of pressure and spacing. In a steamy bathroom, even the tiniest weak spot can start to corrode, which then heats up and leads to failure.
